FINEST KNOWN 1707 PCGS 55!!! In almost 25 Years this is the 1st PERU 1707 we've ever owned (or even handled). This Peruvian cob just exuberates the Golden age and PIRATE ERA with it's deep dark underlying toning. The planchet is extremely round and has nearly a Full Crown and very detailed Castles and Lions (even down to the castle windows and Lions mane). The Cross is nearly perfect and very boldly struck (no doubling) and nicely centered. The legends displaying the King's Ordinal and Hispanirum. Bold markings on the Mint (Lima) and Assayer (Hurtado) as well as REX (King) on the Obverse legends.
