This Finest Known 1713 NGC 66 from the 1715 FLEET Shipwreck is an astonishing Gold Doubloon. Displaying the date 1713 and nearly a Full Crown and Shield as well as the Denomination, Mint Mark and Assayer (MXOJ), as well as a Full Cross and Tressure. Through extensive research we have discovered that all the BU (Business Uncirculated - the type of strike, basically common coins) struck 1713's (Cross side) were struck with "ROYAL" dies. The brilliant Luster on this piece is exuberant, certainly earning the coin it's Trophy spot as a Finest Known.
