Colombia 2 Escudos 1701-15 "1715 Fleet Shipwreck" NGC 62, ex-Art McKee!! Under the reign of Charles II, Weight 6.65 grams. Nearly Full Shield and Cross! Luster with light encrustations in crevices (desirable showing shipwreck remains). The Shield is doubled in such a way that makes it seem like Naples-Sicily is on the left (per Restrepo's ARC1), especially since it was slabbed upside-down by NGC (who also called it 1701-15 in error), whereas in fact it is actually a proper Shield dating to sometime prior to the mid-169s. From the Corrigan site with Karen Mckee certificate that says "salvaged by my father 'Arthur McKee Jr' off Vero Beach in the early 60s"!!
