5th-6th century AD. A gold ring comprising a round-section hoop with bulbous collar, applied granules and beading to the shoulders, filigree rounded cage with beaded rim and granule finials, discoid plaque with granulated surface and central inset later ancient carnelian gemstone with scorpion intaglio.
