Just a beautiful piece of Jewelry that can be Enjoyed Everyday! Details about the COIN: The Obverse (front or Crown side) feature the complete Spanish Shield (displaying the Kingdoms included in the Reign), as well as the Mint to the left of the Shield “SF” Sante Fe de Bogota. To the right of the Shield is the “II” denomination (2 Escudos). There is a FULL CROWN displayed at the top and the lower portion of the King’s Ordinal “Philipus III.” The Reverse or CROSS side boldly displays the DATE “1622,” which is also the year the the Señora de la Atocha sank (see below of the Shipwreck History). The legend reads: HISPANIRUM REX (meaning King of SPAIN). The authentic piece of this item just sold in January 2018 in auction for a total of $66,000!!!
