This Gold Doubloon is certain to make your heart beat fast! From the exact year of the “1715 FLEET!” This Gold piece is indeed an Overdate: 1715/4/3. This Rarity weighs 26.7gm There's Only 1 (ONE) Overdate or even 1715 straight date EVER CERTIFIED or even known by us! (Now there's 2 we've ever owned)! The CROSS side displays the FULL & COMPLETE DATE 1715!!! There’s absolutely NO distractions on the date’s strike! You cannot see it but there’s actually two other dates under the 5, hence the 1715/4/3. The CROSS itself is of the Bold variety, along with it’s full Tressure! The Centering of the ENTIRE Cross side is virtually PERFECT!!! The Rim (identicals), resembling a pie crust is also complete (rarely seen). Moving on to the Legends, Mint mark, Assayer…. Everything is as perfect as an advanced Collector could ever dream of and beyond… To hold it in your hand will even impress you more, the color is a perfect golden with deep rich underlying tones.
