Spain 1 Escudo 1516-56 from the crushingly rare Burgos (B) Mint as seen below the CROSS (Never seen before)!! We absolutely had to have this piece considering our last name begins with a "B" and I imagine whoever loots this from us will also have a "B" in their name because it's just too perfect for a pendant piece! Charles- Joanna, crescent to left, circlet to right of Shield, mintmark B below Cross (RARE)! The coin itself weighs 2.13 grams. Choice full Cross and Shield with clear crescent-circlet and bold mintmark B to distinguish it from the common Seville issues, incredibly crisp stike with no signs of doubling on both obverse and reverse!
