SPAIN 1608 1 ESCUDOS NGC MS 63 GOLD PIRATE TREASURE COIN DOUBLOON COB One of “the” first even Minted Gold pieces in Spain using modern minting (Milled coins).  ONLY 6 Ever Certified TOTAL by NGC and this is one of the Highest Graded!  Easy to see why it graded so high.  The Obverse has very sharp / Bold Details, from the King’s Ordinal (Philip III) down to the intricacies inside the Shield (displaying the Kingdoms under Philips reign).  The Crown is also worth mentioning, complete and Bold.  From the Segovia mint (KM 29, FR 194, Cal-61).  The Reverse (the Money shot) is ALL there, starting with the DATE 1608, both FULL & Complete!  As well as the Legends (REX HISPANIRUM = KING OF SPAIN).  Truly a trophy piece!"
