SPAIN 4 ESCUDOS “FULL DATE 1590!” PCGS 50 FINEST KN. GOLD DOUBLOON COB

We have had two other 4 Escudos (Spain) over the last couple decades (in similar grade) but have NEVER had a “DATED” 4 Escudos off of SPAIN, VERY VERY RARE!  Ironically, about 3 years ago we had a 2 Escudos dated 1590; however, that pice was not nearly as perfectly legible as this Gold piece!  The color of this Doubloon is very bright with deep undertones (Honey in color) with a nearly perfectly Centered CROSS!  Also, with a very nice roundness to the planchet.  The assayer is fully legible as well as the IIII (4 escudos) to the left of the shield.  But the “FULLY DATED 1590” most certainly steels the show and sets the piece apart from any other 4 Escudos known!  Also, next to the date in the legends is the KING’s full name (Philippus Vth).  This is certainly a centerpiece for any advanced Cob / Doubloon collection and is in incredible condition for 425+ Years old
