Spain 2 Escudos 1556-98 "Mint State" NGC 63
Spain 2 Escudos 1556-98 NGC 63 (colleague pic Raw, Top Row far left). Pirate Gold Coins Treasure! Very bright Golden Luster Mint State. Weight 6.74 gm. Full cross that is Extremely well centered, with surrounding crisp Legends (HISPANIRUM)! The Obverse has a FULL shield, Full "II” denomination, Assayer "B" and Mint "S" to the left of the Shield. Even, the Legends on the Obverse is displaying the King's Ordinal! Seville Mint. Fully struck and without any distractions whatsoever! (You can see this coin while still raw in the colleague picture, on the left side, laying just below the State of FL Tag).xx
There were approx. 122 Spain Escudos (1’s and 2’s) that were Found on the 1622 Atocha Shipwreck (again, FROM SPAIN), only a couple have been seen with even a partial date (out of those 122 pieces). It is NOT documented that this piece was from any shipwreck, as if it was, this piece would be well over $75k!!! All we know for sure is it was from the same Time Era. A gorgeous piece that would be a pinnacle in any Advanced Collection! 5
