Spain 4 Escudos 1556-98 "Trophy Piece" NGC 55!! Our last "Trophy Piece" about 2 years ago sold instantly and we haven't used those words on a 4 escudos since! This is the first one that's come in in all these years that's made my face light up like a Christmas tree and made me think "that's the new best one ever." I mean this piece has literally everything going for it! First it has a huge planchet to allow for a vast amount of the Legends to display. The Centering is incredible, the toning is more than you could ask for allowing for all the details to show perfectly! Absolutely no doubling on the Strike, a Full Cross and surrounding Tresssures. The Shield side is just mind blowing, almost full Legends, perfectly visible details due to the crisp strike and toning and almost full Crown.
If you are Trophy Hunting this is truly a Trophy Piece, and honestly can't help but think about it in a pendant because it seems a shame to put this piece in a safe.
