SPAIN 1556-98 2 ESCUDOS PENDANT NECKLACE JEWELRY PIRATE GOLD COINS SHIPWRECK TREASURE *CHAIN included! This very round and nicely toned Gold Doubloon 2 Escudos is nearly 500 YEARS OLD is simply beautiful! The CROSS of Jerusalem is almost perfectly centered and the toning really ecsenuates the devices. Note: The CROSS above the CROSS, Rare Variation but adds to the beauty and elegance of design. (HISPANIRUM ~ SPAIN). The Reverse displays the FULL SHIELD (and it’s Kingdoms within), Partial Crown. Many of these were found on the Shipwreck “The GOLDEN FLEECE” of the mid 1500’s. The Bail will hold approx. a 6 or 7mm chain, as the Chain featured here (22kt plated) *** IS INCLUDED and is 5mm in thickness and 24” long. The Coin by itself weighs approx. 6.6gm (8gm w/bail) and measures at 23mm not incl Bail, (approx size of US Quarter). The bail is of course pure gold.
