SPAIN 1406 GOLD DOBLA “CROSS of JERUSALEM", SEVILLE MINT 510 YEARS AGO! ~ NGC 61 ~
SPAIN 1406 GOLD DOBLA NGC 61 “CROSS of JERUSALEM", SEVILLE MINT 510 YEARS AGO!
This Gold, Large Dobla de la Banda (JUAN II) , is graded MINT STATE 61 by NGC, but Far surpasses the 62’s I’ve seen out there. The Golden Luster is brilliant and the devices are strong. Excellent Centering! The Obverse features the “Coat of Arms” and the Reverse displays “Quartered Arms of Castile and Leon with Mintmark “S” at the top of the Cross of Jerusalem. Dating between 1406 to 1454. This piece is without hesitation, has the nicest Golden Luster I’ve ever seen in 20 years on a Dobla!!!
