ROMAN EMPIRE "ZENO" 2nd Reign AD 476-491  NGC MS  5x3  CONSTANTINOPLE AV SOLIDUS – GOLD Coin.  Approx. 21mm & 4.49g   Constantinople, 3rd officina, second reign.  Obv:  D N ZENO PERP AVG, diademed, helmeted and cuirassed facing bust of ZENO, head slightly right, holding spear over right shoulder and on left arm shield decorated with horseman motif.  REV:  VICTORI-A AVGGG,  Victory standing left, holding long jeweled CROSS in right hand with star in right field.  Bottom Rev:  CONOB.   In MINT STATE condition with the strongest strike possible 5/5 and bright luster remaining.
