This authentic, Very RARE 1725 (overweight 27.81!) was struck in the same year that Philip Vth’s son reigned “Luis I.” KING Philip Vth (who was appointed the throne by Charles II) abdacated his throne for his son “Luis I,” but unfortunately this was a very short reign as Luis I fell ill (smallpox) and passed (Aug. 1724) about 7 months into his reign (at only age 17, born Aug 1704) so his father Philip V resumed as king until 1750. This Very Rare Gold Doubloon has a beautiful honey color with underlying tones and a complete Date “725,” Pillars, and a very bold CROSS (no doubling) and nice Castles and Lions (even much of the Legends are visible: Philipus V. DG. HISPANIRUM (King Philip V of SPAIN , by the Grace of God). This Cob is a RARE 1 (ONE) YEAR production! A RARE Opportunity for all Treasure Hunters!
