PERU 1703 8 ESCUDOS NGC 55 (RARE-ONLY 2 KN!) “1715 FLEET” GOLD DOUBLOON TREASURE COB COIN ROYAL like This breathtaking Gold Doubloon is mesmerizing! There’s ONLY 2 that have ever been certified – EVER! The reverse is centered nearly perfectly! The CROSS is UN-broken and NON-doubled and VERY BOLD! The CASTLES and LIONS have Very Sharp Details (literally see the Lions mane)! The PLANCHET is extremely round – ROYAL like. Even the Legends are very clear and complete. The Obverse has a near Perfect DATE 1703! The beaded circumference is complete and visible as well as the ASSAYER H (Hurtado) and the L = Lima Mint mark. Also, the complete PVA (Plus Ultra = More Beyond) is nicely displayed. There is some doubling of the Crown present, but the Crown is Complete, which is very nice. Also includes much of the legends and complete Waves. This Doubloon has very nice luster and was certified a Very long time ago and is most definitely under graded, my opinion is a 62 in todays world! There are ONLY 2 pieces for this date and other piece is buried in a collection, this will probably be the ONLY 1703 ever offered on the open market for decades!
