Pirate Gold Coins Jewelry Treasures  (PURE 18kt Gold Bezel & Bail) is proud to present this breathtaking Peruvian 8 Escudos dated 1717 DOUBLE DATED with the rarer "BLOOD Tear Drop Variety, mourning the loss of the 1715 FLEET!  Total Weight 35.2gm (coin is 26.7) Everytime were able to offer an 8 escudos, especially with this level of detail, they always go quick! No signs of doubling on the Cross side, along with visibility even in the Castle Windows with great centering! You can see the "Tear drops" on the Cross side (rarer variety only see we believe in 1716 and 1717)! There is a clear double date on the obverse Pillar side at 11 o'clock with a bold '7'! Also crisp strike with the dots as well which is only seen on these 16's and 17's!
