GOLD MONEY CHAIN 37+” 1622 FLEET  "SANTA MARGARITA" SHIPWRECK PIRATE GOLD COINS TREASURE

1622 ATOCHA  FLEET * SANTA MARGARITA * MEL FISHER PHOTO CERT #07M-83756 COA & Dive's Tag.  This incredible over 400 Year “1622 FLEET MONEY CHAIN” is truly an impressive piece, Over 37 ~3/4 ” and 91.2 grams! It’s design consists of  277 SOLID spherical links (approx. 22kt).  The unstated purpose of these chains was a way to avoid heavy taxation on gold in Colonial Times (they would break of links or shave links to pay for things!) In Excellent condition and actually is wearable (rarely seen).jw
