MEXICO 1714 8 ESCUDOS NGC 64! 1715 FLEET GOLD TREASURE PIRATE COB COIN This “1715 FLEET Shipwreck” incredibly RARE Variety “Diamonds over Assayer & flanking Denomination,” we have NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!! We checked with all our colleagues and this Variety has only been seen maybe 2 or 3 times including this piece and this Gold Cob is certainly the “FINEST KNOWN!” The Obverse features a FULL Shield and complete MINT & Assayer (oM*J) and Denomination (*VIII*) Flanked with Diamonds. Also, the Legends are Amazing ~ King’s Ordinal (PHILIPUS *V*) DEI G (By the Grace of God). The Reverse has a nearly Perfectly Centered FULL CROSS & TRESSURE! Again, the Legends are nearly complete (HISPANIRUM ET INDY REX = KING OF SPAIN AND THE INDIES). Very STONG STRIKE on both sides! The Reverse emphases the Roundess of the Planchet. Just an all around Wold Class piece from the FINEST KNOWN GRADE & RARE VARIETY!
