MEXICO 4 ESCUDOS 1714-20 “1715 PLATE FLEET SHIPWRECK” NGC MS 61 UNDER PHILIP V ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY CRISP STRIKE, LOOKS LIKE IT WAS STRUCK YESTERDAY! FULL FULL CROWN! THIS EXACT PIECE CAME FROM THE SHIPWRECK TREASURE TROVE OF THE 1715 PLATE FLEET (WHICH LOST 11 GALLEONS OFF THE EAST COAST OF FLORIDA DUE TO LARGE HURRICANES). EXTREMELY RARE WITH ONLY 8 PIECES EVER CERTIFIED BY NGC. WHAT IS MOST STRIKING AND ATYPICAL IS THE NEAR PERFECT ROUNDNESS OF THE PLANCHET/ FLAN AND ALSO THE EXTREMELY WELL CENTERED CROSS OF JERUSALEM. THE STRIKE ON BOTH THE OBVERSE AND REVERSE IS INCREDIBLY STRONG WITH ALMOST THE ENTIRE FRONT DESIGN ENTACT.
