MEXICO 1714-20 4 ESCUDOS ~ NGC 62 ~
MEXICO 4 ESCUDOS NGC MS 62 DATED 1714-20 KM 55.2 (13.5g) THIS PIECE IN ALL PROBABILITY CAME FROM THE SHIPWRECK TREASURE TROVE OF THE 1715 PLATE FLEET (WHICH LOST 11 GALLEONS OFF THE EAST COAST OF FLORIDA DUE TO LARGE HURRICANES). EXTREMELY RARE WITH ONLY 8 PIECES EVER CERTIFIED BY NGC (ONLY 3 JUST SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN THIS MS 62). WHAT IS MOST STRIKING AND ATYPICAL IS THE NEAR PERFECT ROUNDNESS OF THE PLANCHET/ FLAN AND ALSO THE EXTREMELY WELL CENTERED CROSS OF JERUSALEM. THE STRIKE ON BOTH THE OBVERSE AND REVERSE IS INCREDIBLY STRONG WITH ALMOST THE ENTIRE FRONT DESIGN ENTACT.
