MEXICO 1 ESCUDO GOLD PENDANT IN BEZEL “1715 FLEET” Mel Fisher COA Philip V COB COIN DOUBLOON Incredible Pedigree, this piece has a FULL MEL FISHER “SALVORS INC.” COA, and it was a STATE OF FL TRADE!!! The company “Salvors INC” was his earliest company, Rare to find these COA’s from this early period. The Coin was awarded a “GRADE 1” which is the BEST grade / condition possible!!! This Gold Cob weighs 3.4 grams, under the reign of Philip Vth and is from the Shipwreck site of the 1715 FLEET (probably Douglass beach wreck site). Many people make their own Pendants with Gold Doubloons, but to have one that has this secure level of Pedigree, with all certainty being from the 1715 PLATE FLEET shipwrecks is VERY RARE indeed!!! The Planchet has a very nice round shape to it. The cross side is almost perfectly centered and has the best details you could ever hope for, not to mention the deep gorgeous Golden Toning! The front has the complete shield, also with deep rich Golden Toning. Just amazing to have a Gold Doubloon over 300 years old, and certified, piece of History to wear around your neck!
