"The Davy Jones Piece" By Pirate Gold Coins & The Crown Collection
Been Dying to do a collaboration with The Crown Collection (Designer/ Carver: Colton Hindle Collections) well in th words of Mel Fisher "Today's the Day"! This is the exact replica (Solid 14kt Gold) of the first gold coin ever minted in the New World, and dated the same year as the Atocha 1622 Shipwreck! This exact coin sold for over $66,000 only 12 known, but we made an exact replica of the finest of the 12 (even touched up the 2nd '2' in 1622)!
First Gold Coin struck in the New World! This beautiful Gold Pendant COIN is a Reproduction from an original that was struck in Cartagena Colombia back almost 400 YEARS AGO! The Coin weighs Over 5 grams and the Diameter is approx 21mm .*See attached XFF Metal Analysis for metal break downs. Each piece is handmade and cared for and is therefore unique from each other (with very subtle variations in color or tone). Each piece carries our “SKULL & SWORDS” LOGO. Just a beautiful piece of Jewelry that can be Enjoyed Everyday! (Watch out for our “Matching EARRINGS!”) Details about the COIN: The Obverse (front or Crown side) feature the complete Spanish Shield (displaying the Kingdoms included in the Reign), as well as the Mint to the left of the Shield “SF” Sante Fe de Bogota. To the right of the Shield is the “II” denomination (2 Escudos). There is a FULL CROWN displayed at the top and the lower portion of the King’s Ordinal “Philipus III.” The Reverse or CROSS side boldly displays the DATE “1622,” which is also the year the the Señora de la Atocha sank (see below of the Shipwreck History). The legend reads: HISPANIRUM REX (meaning King of SPAIN). The authentic piece of this item just sold in January 2018 in auction for a total of $66,000!!!
