COLOMBIA 1646 2 ESCUDOS JEWELRY PENDANT NECKLACE PIRATE GOLD COINS TREASURE
This FULLY DATED (Boldly struck) 1646 2 Escudos is dated just prior to the SHIPWRECK of the CAPITANA of 1654 and could very well have gone down on this Galleon. The Piece weighs 6.9gm (full weight) and measures at 24mm (same size as US Quarter). The CROSS (of Jerusalem) is Full and Complete (strongly struck) is surrounded by almost a full Tressure. The Shield is also almost complete and is capped with a FULL CROWN (Rarely seen)! The Assayer and Mint (N.R.) are fully struck and present, as well as partial legends. The Shield displays the Kingdoms under the weight at the time, including: Castile, Leon, Naples, Aragon, Sicily, etc..
