COLOMBIA 1660 DATED 2 ESCUDOS NGC 55 GOLD DOUBLOON COB TREASURE SHIPWRECK COIN This beautifully toned piece is just epitomizes the romantic era of the 1600’s and the Golden Age of Pirates! Majestically displaying the FULL CROWN and the FULL Mint marks of NR = NUEVO REINO (KM14.1,Fr-3) and even partial King’s Ordinal “Philip IV.” When viewing the Reverse, it’s evident that the date is “1660” as the third numeral clearly has the same large round feature of it’s preceding “6.” The Cross is Full and with great partial “HISPANIRUM” in the legend. Truly a Classical piece, partially dated and with deep toning contrasting against beautiful underlying Luster!
