BOLIVIA ATOCHA 1621 PENDANT w/ GOLD CHAIN 8 REALES "MEL FISHER" COA & TAG
This incredible piece, DATED 162X is perhaps the Best we've handled for Pendants; and is from Mel Fisher's Personal effects. We bought both, this piece and his Gold 8 Escudos fully dated 1715 Fleet Pendant together (see here on our website for 8E).
The Gold Chain is included, which weighs approx. an ounce and is approx. 22 - 24" long. Set in a custom fittled Bezel with a mariner traditional bail.
The provenance is as good as it gets, with both the Fisher Flip tag and Original COA (85A-197545) weighing 23.2gm (for just the coin). Orgin LT1972, discovered in 1972 it appears and is certified in 1985. Probably worn by Mel many times throughout the decades.
Comes in an Original ATOCHA 1622 Blue Velvet (Mel Fisher) box (also showing it's origins from the Fisher's).
A very special piece meant for a prized ATOCHA Collector!!!
