ATOCHA 1622 (DATED 1620 at 11 O’clock cross side) SHIPWRECK Bolivia (Potosi) 8 Reales Reign Philip III Weight 23.6 grams Grade 2 With MEL FISHER COA GRADE 2, Coin # 85A-158038, Potosi. EXCELLENT CROSS, Lions and Castles. Assayer T. Rarely do we find fault with an assigned grade, but in this case, we strongly believe this piece was meant to be designated a Grade 1! After looking at literally thousands of 8 reales and assigned grades this piece far exceeds it’s companion grades. Either way, grade or not, this DATE is incredible! The first 3 digits are very clear and we believe the last digit has a ghost of a 2. Comes with Insert Flip as well. 28
