SPAIN 1 ESCUDO 1516-56 REAL GOLD DOUBLOON & 18kt GOLD BEZEL~COB TREASURE COIN
This beautiful Gold Escudos from 1516 (approx 500 Years old) is History that you can enjoy everyday you wear it. The Gold Treasure coin has an incredibly well centered and Bold Cross and a nice circular shape to it (being Hand struck they all came out unique). The Shield side has a FULL CROWN (very rare) and a Full Shield, displaying all the Kingdoms in Spanish reign. The mint is in Seville and the Assayer has the Square D to the left of the Shield and Carlos & Iohana (Johanna) in the Legends. The size is 30mm (total in bezel), the coin is 22mm and total weight is 16gm (coin is 3.4gm)
