What sets this Gold Doubloon apart from most others is the Large and incredibly “Round Planchet,” almost appears as though it was being prepared as a Royal!  Also, the Toning really exemplifies the Devices and lettering in the legends (which read:  by the grace of god, philip v king of spain and the indies, year…1711) .  The Obverse is free from double strikes and also displays a “FULL CROWN.”!  This SHIPWRECK Gold Doubloon is from the famed “1715 FLEET WRECK, which perished back on July 30th 1715 (see shipwreck history tab for more info)
