Peru 2 Escudos 1707 "Incredible Toning & Color!" NGC 62! Philip V, L-H, Lima mint, KM36, Cal-1824, Oro Macuquino-245. ISPANIA variety. 6.65gm. A scintillating representative of this small Cob type, lavishly struck upon a warm, ambered gold flan with lightly granular surfaces and identifying features fully discernable. Legends leave a clear lower portion of the "G" immediately preceding "ISPANIA" for this scarce variety of an already scarce date.
